How does the ps pulley come the pump itself. I need to take the 3 bolts out behind the pulley so i can seperate the pump from the bracket. Thanks for all your help

You need a puller to pull the pulley off.

I got one. Is that all i need just seems like there should be something else holding it on just seems like it would came apart.

You wouldnt beable to use a puller because its a plastic pulley. Might have figured it out. There is a hex head bolt in the shaft holding the pulley on but just wont come out

You use a power steering pulley puller. It's pressed on so you also need the pulley installer. Usually in the same kit.

I dont understand how that doesnt break trying to pull that off being plastic. Guess it must work. Ok thanks ill will look around for one

I don't think it's plastic, but even if the pulley was the hub shouldn't be. If it isn't meant to be pulled off the puller won't go on the hub.

Just use the puller like everyone says. The kit usually has the press in it too. One thing to remember- When you install the pulley you have to make sure it is lined up perfectly so the belt can move properly.

Ok ill give it a go. Do you know if the hex head bolt has to br removed. Im assuming it does but i need to heat it.

There shouldn't be a bolt in there. Yes it will have to come out.
