Default Power Windows

I am wanting to add power windows to the XL but wanted to get some imput on everything. I was looking on ebay and I found some kits that are complete. One in particular is a SPAL kit with switches for a 2 door application for around 100.00 shipped. Any input on this? I was thinking it would be easier and more cost efficient than going to junk yard getting all of the switches, tracks, motors, and wiring. just to have some part of it being messed up or getting messed up during the install. or uninstall. Here is a link to one of the cheaper kits.

I've heard good things about those kits on the escort forum I'm on, seem like they'd hold up for the price and
alot less work then swappin doors.

The guy on this forum has a post with a link to pictures with the kit installed just to give you an idea.

Here's the link with the pictures of it installed in an escort

Looks pretty descent on an escort lol.

I'd just go to the junkyard. It's not hard to swap the window hardware. Swapping doors is just stupid.

I wasn't trying to call you stupid, it just kinda worked out that way.

People make things harder than they are. Just bolt in the guts and install the wiring harness, no painting or anything. Either way you're running wires and bolting on parts, but I can bolt in guts by myself. I would need help bolting on doors and unless you need doors then why waste the money buying them and painting them. They won't match the truck even if you painted them.
