Default Power windows

My driver side window will go down fine but wont come back up. And when I hit the button to raise it I just hear a thud sound. The motor still works. What's the problem and how can I fix it?

Another common problem with these trucks windows was the ball Berings they were made with (plastic) broke over time. So I took off my door panel and drilled the riviots out on the window motor and took it out of the door it can be a bitch getting it out of the door, but after you do get it out disconnect it from the arm and take it apart and those plastic ball Berings will be smashed up and pushed into every corner. Then put some metal ones in there and re grease them and you will
Be all set.
