Default Power Window Problem - Where to Start?

So my passenger side window won't roll down. It's a power window in a '96 xlt. It doesn't even sound like anything is clicking or power is going to the motor.

So where to start on these? I don't want to buy and replace a motor if I don't have to. I figured fuse is step one, but are there any regulators in between?

Replace the switch. I just replaced mine with one out of a junk yard for $10. You can also get one from Ford for around $40.

They're on a circuit breaker. Test the motor. Put power and ground directly to it.

Neither switch works, so not sure it could be both at the same time.

If one is broken neither will work.

Was working in the cab at night and I noticed that the map light dims and there's a faint click at the passenger door when I press the down button on the switch.

Sounds like power is getting to the motor.
