Default power window problem

The other day my driver side widow stopped working... I worked 100% fine, then I shut my door with the window down and it seemed like it made a louder thunk than normal so I went to roll it up and it would not.... motor runs, it just looks like the motor is not contacting the regulator arm. I pulled the door panel off and it doesn't look stripped, but it is hard to see.

Is there any way to adjust the motor's position to fix this? Or anything else I can do short of replacing the whole thing?

sounds like the window came off track or the regulator is stripped...does the motor sound like its meeting resistance or is it spinning real fast?

after doing some research, it sounds like it might be the window regulator gear plugs.... but regardless, I guess I gotta pull it out and look at it to find out.

It really is a easy fix... just takes a little patience. Rebuilt both my window motors and they work great. I bought the kit from advance auto when i did mine about a year ago...
