Default Power stays on when key off.

Hey all -

I have a question about my ignition:

First - when I start my truck I have to turn the key back or else it stays all the way in the forward position.

Second - When I take the key out, all the power still works (radio, windows, wipers, etc.)

Would replacing the tumbler by chance take care of both of these issues?

It's most likely the rod from the lock cylinder to the ignition switch, common problem. Or the switch is bad.

You need to drop the column to change the ignition switch. I've never done the rod but I hear it's kinda a pain.
