Default power plug

I finally got my Yaesu FT-5100 VHF/UHF rig repaired an I am installing it on my truck.
I have a power plug which has a cigarette light type of jack.. how many amp's will this plug support, I need 9 amps.

According to wiring thickness i'd say that it can provide at least 10 amps continiously, but it would be a lot better to make separate circuit directly from battery for that purpose - it will help to avoid power losses related with wiring length.
