Default 4X4 problem

I have a 1993 f-150 with the auto locking hubs and when i engage the 4 wheel drive the transfer case engages but the front wheels wont unless your using it in reverse but when your go forwards all u hear is a clicking sound

The actuators are broken. Pretty common on these and the Rangers with autolocking hubs. The actuator itself is plastic and eventually wears out.

To put manual hubs on the truck you need Warn numbers:

32720 Conversion kit
9790 hub kit

They aren't very hard to install either.
