Yeah, if you want the tires to rub you can go with 2" With a '93 or newer, you'll have to hack the sides right off the bumpers to turn but each his own...

the summit brand has the bolt on extensions as well. but i do think the welded extension would be better.

the only thing it looked like it was going to rub on my 90 was the radius arms. and even if it does rub the body i could always get a BL or like you said just cut the sides of the bumper off. it wouldn't be a big deal to me to cut the sides up, bc if you do a good job you can make it look good

Well, I know I wouldn't want somebody cutting a section out of my steering column and welding in an extension. If it's a bad weld that breaks, your dead...

yeah but the bolt on ones can get loose after time and eventually end up failing as well.

either way i guess just keep an eye on it

ok so i did the 6 in lift this weekend and wow i like it now time for the 35s but i hate one thing: when u back up the tires lean and point into each other. big problem with i beam front ends so my next step is a soild axle front end.
does anyone know how to do this and maybe what parts do i need?
maybe someone made a step by step on this????
