Default planning for the... nearish future?

so, i'm finally getting my truck painted after 9 months of it being "fixed". it's getting the same color and scheme for a pretty reasonable price from the guy that painted it before. a whopping $900 to fix all dings and body repair that's needed!

but that's the part i don't need help with.

i'm looking at tearing down and rebuilding my 5.0 for the second time after i buy my 1994/1995 mustang GT. i want to do this because i want to add a little bit of power to bessy and the engine will be around 150,000+ by the time i get around to it. a little early for a rebuild i know but i want it done!

i guess you should know the purpose that my truck will be used for so you can know the mods i will want. she will be mostly a street driver but will tow occasionally(boat, jetskis, mustangs to the track, etc...)

so, i was thinking upper/lower intake upgrade, heads, cam, electrical upgrade(plugs, wires, coil, dist..) etc... anything else you guys can come up with that you've done?!

possibly boring 30 over? but that would also mean new pistons? am i right? never took this route on any of our mustangs

LET ME KNOW GUYS! i'm getting pretty excited about this!

P.S. paint should be done within the next 3 months!

Stock works for me, and I'm using the 4.9 to pull my trailer every day. When it crapped out I threw in the first motor I found (which I got for free) and continued on.

just do a 60 over bore with 65lbs injectors you'll get good gas mileage beable to pull a mountain and get about 25 mpg.

well, i decided to leave my truck engine alone because i'm getting ready to pick up a 302 block with heads, cam, and crank that came out of a 93 mustang with a engine stand for $100! can't beat it!

now, i just gotta find a roller 89-93 fox and build the engine!

also, your sig cracks me up because in my pic, my truck was flawless and i took it places you wouldn't think i would take it. i took it for a hill climb up the whole mountain on a old dirtbike trail that was atleast a 50-60% grade and downed trees everywhere. stupid i was... but nothing happened! i may take some pics of the place i took it later this week if i have time.
