Any good ones out there for a 92-96 f150 5.8l? Anyone have any experience with them?

I'm curious to the stuff they sell on ebay, but I'm almost 100% sure it's nothing more than a few pieces of electronics ($0.25 a piece at RadioShack) that make your engine run lean... causing an issue like burned pistons down the road.

Oh yeah those ebay ones im sure are junk but I see that JET makes some and was curious to how much of a difference they make you pay alot of money for one so im just wondering if its worth it...
