I've read too many horror stories about Bosch spark plugs in Fords. I'd stick with either Motorcraft or Autolite.

Not sure what products Bosch makes for Ford, but I'm thinking it's not plugs.

Maybe it's just the 4.2, 4.6, 5.4's that they aren't any good in. I know out of several F-150 sites/forums I've read tons of times that Bosch plugs were not good in Ford trucks. Not sure, like I said maybe the 5.0 is a different animal when it comes to plugs.

I'm guessing the price you were asking about is due to them having more pins on them??? Not really sure...

Bosch too xpensive. If the same energy is delivered to a plug it does not matter if you use the most costly plug or a cheaper plug. AC Rapidfire plugs are good. They last a while in both my big block and 302.

The Bosch platnum plugs are crap in anything, not just Fords. I helped a buddy change his plugs in his Nissan and after pulling them out it wasnt hard to see what the issue was. The electrode had discentegraded in 3 out of 8 of them and they were only 8 months old. I have also had the same experience with them years ago in a Dodge I owned. They are not only Not worth the big money they want for them but they could destroy your engine!! Motocrafts,NGK,Autolites are all good spark plugs in my experience.
