No not really, but i pulled the thermostat and it was stuck open, my guess is the overheating did that to it when the plug i replaced came loose, i got a new thermostat 195 and installed it just now so im wondering how long i should let the sealant sit before i start it up and "burp" it again?

Done deal. The sealant does seal, but just as much, to keep the gasket from wandering while reseating the housing in place.
