Default oil getting to air box

So I'm seeing a little bit in the air box on my 1988 300. I turned it around to see how long it takes to build up. The smaller patch is after about a month or maybe a little more. And should something be in here?

Change your PCV valve behind the intake manifold right under the EGR valve. Change the breather on the crankcase and change the small breather filter inside the air box. Make sure you use a motorcraft PCV valve when you change it, they're about $17 at the Ford place but it's worth it.

You could change the pcv it won't hurt but that amount of oil on filter looks about normal for a 4.9. The second picture there is supposed to be a filter element inside that, they are glued and fall apart. Someone must have thrown out the pieces.

I've think I've seen the breather filters with the pcv valve's, so I do think it's still sold.

But either way you can't tell this thing uses any oil. Doesn't leak at all. Dipstick shows full for all 3000 miles of every oil change
