Default Offset confusion

I'm wanting to put 17s on my truck with 33x12.50s but idk what offset I'm gonna have to run so the tires don't rub the radius arms. Anyone got any ideas what I'll need?

what lift you have on your truck. I have a 4 inch lift and am putting 35's on it. I am forced to get 15's over 17's just cuz of the offset. you want a negative offset.

I have a 2.5 inch lift. So far the only offset I've been able to find in a rim I like was a -12mm. Idk if it's enough or not

I know for my 4 inch and 35's I gotta go to a -44 or -45 offset, which equals about a 3.75 or 4 I kinda wanted to go with 17's for my truck but like I said was forced to go to a 15X10. Which is alright hahaha

a -12mm offset equals about half an inch. So if you have a 9 inch rim, it will mean it will have a backspacing of about 4 inches if I did my math right

Would that be enough to not rub my radius arms?

I would think if it did it would just be at full lock, not too big of a deal

Yeah stock are usually 5X7 or 5X8. idk about offset on them. I would say a -12 offset would rub then if your rubbing with the 31's
