Not Starting
I have a 1993 F150 that simply will not start. The relay is clicking but the starter will not turn over. I have a new battery which tested fine, a new starter which also tested fine. I tried a new relay and it still would not start. The ignition switch is brand new as well. The only way I can start the truck is to directly jump to the starter. My only guess now is bad wiring? I checked the wiring and there was no visible damage on it at all.
if it starts when you jump it over, but not on it's own, i'd start there and work my way back. you know you have power. and you know you got a good starter. just gotta hunt down the missin link. make sure all your contacts are clean, and your battery cables are good, and no corrosion on the ends.
