no steering...
hi everyone,
New to the board. Picked up a 92 150 5.0 4x4 with 166k yesterday for 200 bucks. Only thing is theres not steering. Bolts that go through the frame to the steering gear box had broken off. Couple of questions though. What size socket fits the pitman arm nut. Any one know of anywhere I might can find the bolts for the gear box. Ford no longer has them??

any place in town that sells grade 8 hardware. is the place to buy bolts
as far as the socket, just take a tape measure/ ruler and measure flat side to flatside across.
you will also need a pitman arm puller. to get the pitman arm off the steering box.
