Really weird. Once in a while my 300 six automatic seems to lose power. Not rough or anything but just like I was in high gear on a hill?

Check your air filter/cleaner! My truck had power issues till I replaced that and it ran much better. Either that, or one of your plug wires could be bad, or your rotor or distributor cap could be bad. If that's not the problem, it could be the fuel filter. What is your engine temperature like?

Temp is on the low side. Should have said I replaced the air filter, cap, rotor, and wires. The thing that gets me is it happens very seldom.
Gas filter will be next.

Yeah man, if you replaced all that stuff it sounds like a fuel problem. In addition to replacing the fuel filter, I'd run some seafoam or Lucas injector cleaner through it. Could be that one of your injectors is dirty. You could also have a small vacuum leak. But I'd do the fuel pump and injector cleaner first.

Seafoam will fix it... I even use it for salad dressing...
