Hi,need some help with transmission problems.Truck was running fine in 2wheel drive, selected 4low,drove 50 meters, and went back to 2high and have lost all drive. Can select all transfer case drives and all of the gears in the 5 speed gearbox but have no drive whatsoever in any configuration? Any help would be appreciated,im thinking transfer case?

if your 4x4 selector switch is in the N positon, then you won't be able to go anywhere... make sure your 4x4 lever is ALL the way toward the dash... you should have to push down on the lever and push forward at the same time to get it out of 4 low... thats how mine is anyways....

Check and make sure the shifter is completely in 2 hi, mine sometimes feels like its in 2 hi but it needs just a little more to lock it in. Try to lube the linkage, maybe its a little stiff.

Hi all ! Update on ftruck.Removed transfer case, and split down to find that the selector fork had snapped ends and oil pump had done the full 360 and broken off the oil pickup tube/filter.No damage to anything else.Rebuild kit is on its way, back on the track again. This would have to be one of the most simple transfer cases i have ever split.(normally jap toyota/nissan/mitsubishi) during my trade as a mechanic. Go the Henry!
