Default Newbie error code interpretation.

I just tried to pull codes on my 1990 Lariat 5.0 long bed 4x4.

It doesn't really make sense to me what I got so I will write out the blinks and delays. I recorded it on my phone and have looked at it a few times to make sure I got the timing right.

blink, two sec, blink, four sec, blink, two sec, blink, ten sec, blink, five sec, blink, two sec, blink, four sec, blink, two sec, blink.

I only did the KOEO test.

What I think I got was a pass with no errors on the KOEO and on maybe a 12 code on the continuous test which would indicate an idle control fault. Like I said though I'm new to all of this and hope you guys can help out.

The 12 code would make sense though since it has been shutting off on me while in drive at red lights. Seems like its idling to low. I was planning on checking the intake air control to trouble shoot that but thought I would try to pull codes first.

Thanks in advance for your help and patience with the FNG.

Looks like you got 11s across the board. Try the running test. When you see a larger number than 1 you will understand the flash timing better. It takes a few times to figure it out and I still have to do it over sometimes.

Excellent. I will do the running test tomorrow as I'm headed to the in laws for dinner.

Sean, thanks for the quick reply.
