why not flip the upper around? instead of removing the a/c components.

what about a spacer between the upper and lower intakes to lengthen the runners and give you some extra clearance?

A good thick intake spacer would also increase plenum volume and give you more of your torque back. Leave the throttle body spacer alone, it works as good as those "tornado" things...

Your gunna need the fuel rails from the explorer, the throttle linkage, your truck one will fit but just barely and I'm worried about breaking it later. And the wierdest one you have to flip around your valve covers. Yes take the drive on and put it on the passenger side and then the opposite. As weird as it sounds it's because the fill neck for the oil is right in the way. You'll also have to get a breather that gets it out from the valve cover some. The reason for the fuel rail swap is because the stock pressure regulater is an 1/8" to high. Your also gunna need to relocate the stock coil I'll find the best place tomorrow I'm done for tonight. Other then that I haven't ran into any other problems. YET haha.

Another thing if you don't have a/c or don't want it ever again cut out the canister by the heater box and all the lines and all your smog sh*t and you got a perfect spot for a ram air intake. Haha.
Looking at your final instal pics unless something was different with your truck to begin with my valve covers look like that right now so why would you have to flip them, and what about flipping it around, i think there are symetrical and can be flipped so that the throtle would be on the driver side?
