Default New Here

Well guys my I been looking around this site for the past month and a half so i decided id just join and create a thread about my ol truck!

Just recently dad handed his 1987 F-150 Custom to me. Just factory right now besides the tool box and nice new radio. It had to have one. I hated the factory one. Truck has 300 inline six Truck means a far share to me coming from dad for one but havin a truck the same model as myself is kind of neat and will hopefully be able to hand her down to my child one day if i ever have one with the good lord willing I will. Truck has 65,000 on the odometer but i think it may be 165,000 though. Not sure on that. Just recently added a new battery, altanator (there proud of them) oil, radio speakers, seat cover, toolbox and two browning stickers. I have some pictures im gonna try to up-load not sure if they will work but here we go..... Also i have restored headlights and just today waxed some of the old truck. Needs buffing but wax has done amazing until i get around to doing that. In these pics its not waxed, but i will get some later today and upload them so you can see the difference. Give your advice on what iv done. Likes and dislikes please. Im honest person and suspect you will be to! Gonna hopefully soon put exhaust on it.

Yes sir its four speed. Dads got a really stiff clutch in to come to think of it. He had it put in for pulling the boat in and out of the water. But yes its a good ol four speed. I love this body style. He tried to sell it and I came unglued on him! Needless to say the truck stayed and the guy with money left unhappy!
