Default New here

Hi all, I am new here and would like to share my truck. I have a 1996 F150 XL Patriots Edition #83 of 1000. RWD, 4.9 straight 6, and 5 SPF manual transmission. The truck was given to me from my father as my first car and it's in great shape, it's completely stock except for some American Racing wheels. It's got a 120,000 miles on the clock. My plans for the truck at the moment are chrome grille and head light bezels, chrome bumpers, new stereo system and eventually get to the rear quarters to fix some rust over the wheel wells.

Here's another picture of the truck, still trying to figure this whole thing out.

It is a nice truck. Mine is the same but not a "Patriots" edition. Mine is also automatic. I've been working on mine and put a new front bumper on and painted it to match the steel wheel. But I did change my grille and bezels to black and I like that better. If you change it to chrome, don't you think that would make the silver paint on the bottom look out of place? I was thinking that line was to go from bumper to bumper.

I really like the stock XL's.

Good looking truck, could you tell me what a patriot edition truck is. I was driving home from work yesterday and I seen a texas edition truck and thought hmm what does that mean .I never knew that ford had all these different editions.

Thanks guys for all the compliments and the patriot edition, is a limited edition New England patriots truck, with only 1000 made. I assume that the patriot edition was only sold in New England but I don't know so I'm going to do a little research

Here's a couple pictures of the interior and also I read that XL regular cab trucks DID NOT come with rear, corner speakers. I was checking out the speakers today to get some measurements for new speakers and learned that I do have speakers in the rear corners of the cab, has anybody upgraded their factory sound systems? What speakers/receivers would you recommend?
