New Here.
Good evening everyone,
I am honored to be in this forum and I hope you guys will answer all my questions that I have or will have. I recently purchased a 1991 F150 Lariat Ext cab for $800 and i want to get it restored. It has about 120K miles but it does have some wear and tear especially on the body and the trim. Does anyone have any suggestions or know anywhere I can start my little project? Thanks ahead of time.

Welcome to the forum.
To start off I would do a complete change of all the fluids and a full tune up. No telling whats been done or neglected after 120k, so getting it running properly is a good start.
New oil, coolant, transmission fluid (transfer case and front differential if 4x4), rear differential and even brake fluid. Change the plugs, distributor cap, rotor and plug wires for a fresh ignition system, not to mention a new fuel filter will help.
So far thats a good start.

welcome to the forum, do the tune ups like sylver mentioned.
As for a resto, I would suggest ditching the 91 and finding an 80-86 for the classic looks or 92-96 for more style.
87-91 are like the bastard children of our trucks. lol

Wow I didn't think i would get replies this quick, but thank you sylver91 i will follow your advice. I do know that i am the second owner, so hopefully it's not too bad. I bought it as a work truck not really for show, but i would like for it to look good too. I will post pics tomorrow since I work nights. It's a 5.8 so it shouldnt have any problems as a work truck.
A few places to help you out for parts. National parts depot, Bronco graveyard , and LMC truck parts. Order their catalogs. They have great parts lists and diagrams that will help you out a lot.
