Well, new to the forum. My dd is an 87 F150 xlt lariat w/302. I have some plans for it, but I need to go over it with a fine tooth comb and make sure its right before I start throwing go fast goodies at it. Where should I start?

Check for un even wear on tires. Check front pads and rotors. Check the rear brakes as well, just make sure you don't have the e brake on when you remove the drum covers. Check for play on the front wheels, ie. Ball joints, bearings, tie rod ends. Just a start.

Thanks for the responses guys! But I'll specify a little more: the ttuck thus far is in excellent shape. Everything checks out. But being unfamaliar with the motor/trans/platform/etc, I'm more concerned about any quirks(Starions have a LOT of electrical problems, for example), so that I can catch them and prevent them, etc.
Again, thank you all for the advice thus far!

Cheers,
James
