Default HELP Running problem

Y truck will start wen cool but after it gets warmed up it docent want to run like I can drive six miles and then it wiill die wen I let off gas so stop and then wen u try to start it again it cranks and cranks I got good fuel pressure and good spark and u can keynote cool for 25 min with the hood up and it will start after letting it crank but I have replaced the ignition module that's wat I thought it might be butbi didn't fix it any ideas or ?s this is a 92 f150 302 v8 4x4 with an automatic tranny I almost think the new module might be bad

May want to check the pickup coil inside the distributor (there are resistance checks to perform in order to have a higher confidence, rather than just shotgunning parts), and also the ignition coil (also resistance specs to check).

My experience is that it is better to just replace the whole distributor with a rebuilt having a new pickup coil already installed, than to struggle and destroy the current one trying to get that infernal drive gear off.

all right i am heading to the store to have my module tested and then if its good im going to get a new coil couldnt hurt to have one any ways

so i checked the module it was good and so was the old one lol so i got a coil and it ran smoth little better then it did then i was in sight of home and the truck died and wouldnt start again but today it mad this load poping almost like a back fire but it was in the engine or right under the cab in the front any ideas with that added someone said something about a vapor lock anyone know anything about that
