Default neeed yalls help

well i'm installing alot of lights on the truck for late night offroading. anyways, i have a redtop battery but i know i'm goin to need another battery to power them all. i figure if i get a brand new redtop then pop that in the crate with the other then i would be alight. or will i need to upgrade the alternator\? i figure if i get a new battery it wont need so much power to charge itcuz its new. lol. what yall think. and should i put it under the hood or put it in the bed and run cables?

You don't really need a second battery, just an upgraded alternator. If you do install a second battery put it under the hood.

Everybody want's to go to heaven, but nobody want's to die!

You're obviously going to deal w/ it the way you want to (improperly), why even ask?

Depending on your year, your begging for a fire, but don't let that stop you!

Definitely an alternator not battery.

Isn't there a low buck alternator swap that ups the amp output pretty good in the 9th gens.

I was thinking about the 130 Amp 3G swap from back when I had my Bronco. Not sure if your truck came with it.

You need to determine anticipated Amperage load, then add some, to determine the correct size.
