Me and my brother are painting my truck sometime this summer, it's an '88 , w/ the 5.0L if that matters, extended cab short box. I was thinking a nice shiny black but now I'm thinking about red. I'm kind of limited because of the red interior, hell if it was gray or beige I'd paint it orange in a heartbeat, but I'm thinking i can get away with a red exterior. Let me know what you think.

Thanks, Mike

Mike, i think that red interior with red exterior is kinda... predictable i'd say. Black & red is not thad bad combination at all IMO. Put some coloured fabric upon the hood and take a look from inside. Improvise

Black or white would look good with a red interior. I think that red with a red interior would be too much red though.

you could go with two tone red and black or red and orange with a lil black to seperate maybe try to find one of those sites that put your truck on sreen and mess with colors ther idont know were you would find that kind of site think of decals be original you could get seat covers and accesories to give you more options interior panels come off and are paintable be creative out side the box

black is a HARD color to do right. ESPECIALLY gloss.

The door clips are in the Help! section of any parts store.

You could paint it red and then tint the windows so dark that you can't see the interior!!
