My 1999 4x4 rear differential pinion seal is leaking real bad. I'm having a hard time pulling the companion flange off of the pinion shaft. Surely the pinion shaft seal does not carry the shaft loads does it? Is there a bearing or bushing that carries the pinion shaft loads where the pinion shaft seal mounts?
