Default Need some advice on a bolt extractor

i was tryin to loosen the very back intake manifold bolt when the head broke off. got a bolt extracor with one of the best drill around and tighened the hell out of the drill on the extractor. for even more torque i used the end of a jack handle to make sure the extractor bit wouldnt budge. well as i was trying to take the bolt out the damn drill still spun around the extractor bit. the drill is the only way i can get it out, ive tried other ways. please any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I broke a bolt off in my valve cover. I web through 3 diff easy out bits and stripped them all out. Finally I went and bought a tap and threaded a new hole in the bolt and put a diff size bolt in.

I just drill them to just under the thread size, then cut the rest out with a tap. Extractors don't work.

Wash your drill chuck out with brake clean, and try to get it back on, can you get a picture of this mess, im guessing even what type extractor you used.
Can t get near it with vise grips, NOT locking pliers, vise grips. If i could see it i could help.
If you break the extractor, your screwed, how much do you not want to take off the head?

Don't break an easy out off in there. They aren't made to be used with power tools. Proper way is drilling like Sean said. Another option is welding a bolt onto the remaining stud and using that to remove it. It's a tricky job though.

Other idea, can you remove the rest of the bolts and lift the manifold off the broken stud? That will make it much easier to work on.
