Need help choosing the best off road tire for the price and for 15" wheel

 

what size? stock, 33s 35s? i loved my cooper discovery's i had on my 150 and have on my dodge now. i got general grabber AT2 tires on my 250 now with about 1500 miles so i cant really give a good opinion on them right now, but they seem to be doing fine for what its worth.

 

31"s I was looking at the dick cepek mud countrys. Do you know anything about them?

 

not personally but there are a couple people i know of on this forum running them and they dont seem to be having any issues.

IF you can find them, Dayton Timberline M/T's are the ****. Super aggressive, and they last forever, and they are fairly inexpensive. I think the Firestone Destination A/T is a similar tire and price. I was running a firestone store when I discovered the Dayton's, and I thought they were a hidden gem.....

 

Cooper Discoverer STT. period for a smaller size mud tire.

i've got them in 33's on my GMC with a 3" lift, went through a mud/water hole up to the middle of the doors, and it walked right through and I forgot to put it in 4x4, wet through again in 4x4 and it completly covered every inch of the truck in mud,

 

i can also vouch for the cooper stt MAXX tires, my friend has them on his cummins and they are amazing. little pricy though.

the STT is the offroad/mud tire. the S/T MAXX, is a very aggressive all terrain tire, they are still a great tire, just dont have the mud capabilities of the STT
