W/ OBD-1 you have the option of making the ECU,..........a modification it can't refuse. Manually adding advance to the base timing. It will handle all the details.

the cable from the throttle body to the tranny doesn't appear to be adjustable, and once again, the pictures in my manual don't match up. i'm getting used to this.

can i loosen the bolt that hods the cable to the tranny and adjust it that way? does it spin until meeting the internal stop?

yeah, selecting my wife for her looks and tremendous body hasn't been a bed of roses. maybe one day, i'll learn my lesson...

Can't see it. Hard to comment. On the wife thing. Sometimes time humbles them. Sometime it just turns up the heat! In the mean time, try not to miss your Beat therapy sessions. They hate that!

Default last known issue, tranny not shifting properly

it appears as though all of my codes are emissions related except the hard fault, 98.

should I replace the pcm?

could that be causing my tranny issues?

can the pcm learn to not execute the emission checks?
