Default Need Help Locating the Correct Front Fuel Pump

hey everyone... i need to change front fuel pump on my flareside f150. the pump i have has a wire harness that just plugs in and every where i go (have not went to ford yet) the fuel pumps have to be wired in... ya'll think it might be a dealership part to keep it with the easy plug in wire harness?

Hopefully we're both missing something... I looked online and found the same deal. The motorcraft pumps use a separate wiring harness, but the others are hard-wired. The motorcraft pumps are $300 or more!

Maybe someone else will come along with a better idea - this is crazy.

wow... where did u find the motorcraft one with the wiring harness??

Although for the price difference, it might be worth considering getting a less expensive one and splicing the wires.

And if they happen to have a buy one get one free special, I need one for my front tank too!

They had a good price on a fuel pump for a 93 Dakota I used to own.

Most pumps I've gotten are a universal type for different vehicles. It installs the same but the harness plugs are different. The pump comes with different harness ends and you assemble the end to the pump. It's not hard.
