89 150 with 302 when first starts idle low to normal trying to stall but idle picks back up i checked everything seems ok has new tps and iac check engine light code says tps is above maximum out put,possible open

have you checked your base timing

 

its a code 53 and i checked all the timeing everything is rate in the normal range

 

Did you disconnect the battery for 5 min. after you replaced the sensor? Seafoamed yet?

 

i disconnected the battery for over 10 mins and i sea foamed as well,also my dad has the same truck in 2 wheel and there the same age and almost same milage but mine feels sluggish in comparison it feels like mine stumbles at acceleration im assuming due to this same issue

 

TPS above normal range.

 

i meant everything other than that i cant for the life of me figure out why it would be above maximum range
