Default need help idenifying sensor

hello ! im new to the forum so any help would be great. i have a 1991 f150 v8 302 5.0. it dies when i give it gas and wont go any faster than 5 mph. i replaced the fuel filter, air filter, oil, oil sensor, and oil filter and all the spark plugs. there is a broken sensor next to the distributor cap . it has a normal wire plug. after i pulled the plug off it has 2 prongs. plzzzzzzzz help

Which side of the distributor and what does it mount to?

Sounds like the spout connector.

it mounts to the left hand side . right next to the mass air flow and throttle

its not the spout connector it on the opposite side

i think its a iat sensor. would that cause a 91 f150 to not go fatser the 5mph and die when u give it gas ? thanks
