I Have A 95 4x4 f150 5.0 When every i press the gas to get more power say going up a hill for example when the passing gear kicks in theres a clicking noise ...? and it only does it untill it goes back to the normal ride gear. It sounds like something is getting ready to fall off lol.. More like something is clipping something else.. I have no ideal any help would be nice... I was thinkin it was comming from some part of the throttle maybe Also the faster i go the louder it gets or The Harder it clicks

 

Where does it sound like its coming from? Will it do it if you floor it from a stop? Does it get faster as your speed increases?

it does it both when over drive is turned off and on so i dont think thats it

It sounds like its comming from under the truck around the throttle maybe..The noise doesnt get faster as i increase my speed the "clicking" noise gets harder and when i floor it from a stop it only makes the noise a few times then stops Maybe somethigs loose?

 

Thats a weird one. I think I know what it is..possibly. Try unplugging your Idle air control motor and see if it still makes the noise.
