i have recently purchased a 91 f150 with no rust no dents and am in the process of turning it into my weekend driver however im looking for an engine and looking fo ideas for an engine, something that has some ***** but tht i can still drive the wife around in. i have 302 in the truck now however engine oil is coming up into air intake, soaking the air filter and heading back down carb. and i dont mean a little bit its soaked! i know if i want to keep this engine i have some work to do. any thooughts would be great thanks

 

Does it have blow by? (remove the oil fill cap or valve cover breather and see if any smoke comes out). Is it using a lot of oil? Has the PCV been replaced?
