happen to me. And cause of this thread I found the problem. After replacing the gear box a tie rod and doing an alignment.

How did you miss that when changing the box? And what alignment tech missed that before beginning the alignment?

It's probably a result of the lift (which doesn't appear to be well-engineered), but it would certainly be easier to notice things like that if the truck was cleaner.

it was missed cause the gear box was pulling the two sides together causing the crack basicly disappear
