I'm also planning on painting all that fake wood trim on the interior black cause I'm really not a fan of it. I have it all off except the piece around the gauges. I took out the two screws and pulled the clips but somethin on the bottom is still hooking. Anybody know how this comes off.

You removed the trim on each side of the steering wheel under the gauge trim? Then I think there's two more screws.

Not that it helps but:

Ya the two pieces on the bottom are off and I took out the two screws on top. So then it should just all pop out. Or is it attached to that bar of like the CEL and stuff too?

Two screws on top, two on the bottom and it should pull right out.

Finally got under my truck to start cleaning up yesterday and found that along with the VC gaskets that already leak the oilpan gasket leaks as well. I never noticed before so I thinks its just gotten worse sittin for the last 5 or 6 months. It doesn't look to terribly difficult to change but I don't neccesarily know. Are there any special things I gotta worry about doin it. Also I'm not sure but it looks like somethin else is leaking between the engine and tranny but I'll get pics up and hopefully some one can tell.

Thanks, Mike

Also any opinions on Flowmaster 40 Series muffler. Have my new exhaust but need to choose a muffler.
