Unhappy my engine is TOAST :(

I probably haven't even been driving the thing a month, it always ran a little iffy but good nonetheless. it started to drive like crap one day so i took it to my mechanic and he just gave the news. needs replace/rebuild engine. I AM going to sell it and buy a smaller vehicle, i know everytime someone says that here theyre told to just fix it but no, sorry. its gonna be sold.

so a question- what are a couple of things to make it run a little better so that i can still drive it/convince someone to buy it? i have heard of oil thickener that helps fill the gaps in the pistons so they can get some compression, but is there anything else?

X2 - poor taste If you sell it, disclose everything and sell it "As Is". That's the right way to do it. Or like you said, fix it and forget it. The choice is yours.
