Default mpg's

Just wondering what some of you peeps are getting for mpg's on a 5.0? Mine is a 94 xlt std cab long box 4x4. I have a 6"rc lift,3" body lift 3.55 gears e4od. I run a stock size tire in the winter, Anyway after installing long tube headers with a custom y pipe no cat and exiting b4 the back tire"all 2 1/2 pipe" and the ..http://www.fullsizebronco.com/forum/...ad.php?t=63592 ..tune up..I did a milage test up to the cabin, which is 212 miles 1 way. about 95% of this drive is on a state hwy with a speed limit of 60 to 65, I set my cc at 61 and i got 19.2mpg on the way up and a solid 17.4 on the way back..not to bad for an old *** truck

ya the long tube headers really opened up the flow..but the 6 litre tune really woke it up.

My 5.0 gets like 15 on the HW. It's not too bad for me.

Most all my driving is highway but speeds are going to average about 75, I get consistent 14 mpg. Good long drive at 60 would surely give 2 or 3 more mpg. It would be dangerous trying to go that speed on the highways here in Utah, wouldn't help staying in the slow lane either. My crazy neighbor lady will pass you on the 25 mph neighborhood streets. It would be a Christmas miracle if her car threw a rod!
