If you have bigger then stock tires ( Idk what stock size is for those years) your mileage its not what it reads unless its been recalibrated because larger diameter tires mean more distance covered per rotation I found this out on my 97

stock for most 9th gen 150s was 235/75/R15s and according to 1 of his pictures he has 30" tires so that is another thing that isn't helping.

If my math is right for every mile the truck reads you go a mile plus 360 feet
so if the trip reads 100 miles you actually went 106 miles

Default Well...

OOOH... I wonder if thats why my speedo was acting a tad funny.. So my truck could have a few miles extra under her belt ehh?? Esp. with those 30"s...

No bother, she still runs good.. I Put the 235/75R15's on tonight.. Hankook Dynapro HT... They where 5th rated in Consumers Reports (not that I take stock in what they say, they like freaking Hondas for heavens sake) and I drove maybe 15 miles.. Quiter, better ride, better handling, better feel... Truck feels lighter on its feet and just feels better..

Any one need a set of 1.5 year old 9.5/10ths tread depth 30" tires? $140 clams

I did get 15 today out of it with more highway driving and using shell gas.. But I do have a bit of a lead food and I know I hit 75+ trying to get around the goons that drive around here (and go under the speed limit)

Thanks for the info with the tires.. I didn't know about the different sizes and such until today

I am really thankful it has a Limited Slip.. I've always liked the 3.75" LS (or whatever it was) in the 2wd Exploders and Rangers I've had..
