Default Mazda 5 speed?

1994 ford inline 6, 5 speed/4x4 swap

Quick question I put a 1990 5 speed in my truck and the 94 master wouldn't push enough fluid to disengage the clutch, so I put a 90's master on it. The slave is now leaking so my question is is it the same slave between the years and my 94 master was broke or are they different and if so will the 94 slave fit in the 90 tranny? I'd rather be able to put the proper master in the truck as the 90 master looks goofy under the hood.

Well a quick stop at the parts store and I found out there different part numbers and the 94 is $70 cheaper. Will the 94 slave/master work with the 91 tranny?

Slave and line is '88-'91 and '92-'96. Master cylinders are shaped differently but will operate any year slave. Not sure why yours wasn't working unless you didn't bleed it enough. The '91 slave will physically bolt to the '94 transmission but I don't know if it will work as they looked to be different heights to me. The '94 is cheaper because it is plastic, the '91 is metal.
