Check for codes. If its a sensor you will have one. Also clear the codes ad drive it first. You will likely have one from running with the sensor disconnected. If we go with the oil fouling idea it could be the tps or IAC. Also look for loose vacuum or electrical connections in the area you were working.

Problem seems to be temp. corrected!! thanx for all the help...... by the way it was a bad 6 mo.old MSD Blaster Coil!!!!! Took off the blaster and put on the OEM and fired rite up!! Someones headed to there local FLAP store and find out about warrenty and replacement. Thanx Again!!!
