Default Map Lights

I have a 1995 F150 Standard Cab. One of my map lights is burnt out. Could someone explain to me the proper way to get at the bulb.

You can do it one of two ways.

If you look at the picture, you can see that the lens is curved, with 4 tabs that seat in the housing. If you grab the lens on its edges, you can gently squeeze the lens so that the tabs release.

Alternatively, a small, flat bladed screw driver can be used to pry off the lens. Go at it from the rear window side, though. That way if you mark something, it will be less noticeable.

Sorry for the nasty lens..PO was a smoker...

Unless you have one like this then you have to remove the center cover then the three screws and get to them from the back side of the light

I do have the type light you have pictured. Does this mean that I'll have to remove the three screws and drop the whole light assy to get at the bulbs.

Yeah it have to come down you can't access them from the center cover area.

The bulb should be a #105
