Default MAF & Injector upgrades

O.k. guys/gals, I know some of you may already know this but, I've been holding off doing a ton of engine work because I couldn't find a company that made customized MAF sensors for my 94 5.0L. Now I found it! This company is great! They only specialize in Ford MAF and the company was founded by the guy that helped Ford design their MAF sensor back in 94' who could ask for anything more? Even better, if you want, you can send them your stock MAF and they will recalibrate it too!

Now I'm going to start building some crazy 5.0L HP, look out!

Injectors aren't needed until you reach over 300 or so ponies......might also wanna look at the Moates Quarter Horse and Tweecer if you're into tuning your engine yourself because that's what you're going to need.......Your stock MAF flows alot but let me know if it gives you any more power. i'm gonna check out that site now, thanks for the link. Also, look into the late model 5-0 explorer injectors.....I'm lookin at them because they atomize fuel better and are a direct swap.

Nothing I've read says that the stock 19lb injectors can support 300HP. I've only read that 24lb injectors can handle 300-350HP.

better check over on the Mustang forums about that......bigger PSI injectors don't mean more power. it's actually going to mean a loss in such. Without a good amount of bolt ons and a decent tune the only thing you're going to be doing is hurting your performance. Also, if you're hellbent on a set of 24's...look in EFI 460's, they came factory. Good site btw.

Oh, I'm doing a cam, lifters, rockers, intake, headers, 61mm throttle body, underdrive pulleys, K&N, Trickflow heads and a 75 shot of NOS. That oughta do it.....

Thanks for the compliment....

Here's another conversion company. Sometimes it's helpful to compare prices, info & benefits between different companies, although as you know conversion companies are a small club & getting smaller everyday. http://www.dunne-rite.com/

So you want to go up from 55mm or make it adjustable (tunable)?

the MAF does what it needs to do...getting a different one isnt going make a difference in power...the only thing is some have the ability to adjust them to the correct voltage...you can do that with the add-on part that will do the same thing much cheaper...

in the end the ECM handles the rest...so you can tweak a little but to get the most out of the package you may need to re-map the curves...
