Default m5od reliability

so i have a 1993 5.0 with a 5 speed. i was wondering, if i ever get around to building up the motor, do you guys think that the m5od will hold up? i wanna get the motor up over 300hp and over 300 ft lbs of torque as well. it will most likely still be used as my dd after the build. any thoughts on the reliability of the tranny are greatly appreciated.

I totally beat the **** out of my truck. Three rear ends, five transmissions, two engines. The first four trannys were the TOD 4 speed. When I put in the 5 speed I haven't had any problems since, except for the 1-2 shift fork which is shifting wear not gear wear. I pull a trailer every day and I'm really hard on the truck, hauling *** to the speed limit, trying to keep people from passing me, getting up to speed after I've pulled out in front of someone, etc.

The trailer is loaded with tools and a lot of the time I've got materials in the bed too.

My M5OD-r2 had 200,000 miles on it when I pulled it from my truck, and it was still in good shape when I pulled it out, I was just replacing it with a beefier one with a granny gear.
