Default M5od problems

So my 5speed is giving me fits. When I start up the truck in the morning and go to work the gear box has no problems getting into any gear.
But when I get of work I will not go into first maybe second if I pull real hard. So ive been putting it into first with the truck off then starting it.

It feels like my clutch isn't disengaging completely. It gets better as I drive though.

I'm stumped haha

I had that problem a short while ago.
It's probably time you changed the transmission fluid?
That would be where I suggest you start.
If that doesn't help, then your next step probably going to be a worn pressure plate.
If that's the case, I would suggest a new clutch master and slave cylinder, when you have it out for a new clutch.

It can be done in your driveway. It's not hard mechanically, but it is a crapton of grunt work.
Here's to hoping you just need to change the trans fluid.

I'd check you're fluid level in both the transmission and the clutch fluid. Some ATF Merc III fluid should seep out from the fill plug hole. Also check for leaks around the clutch master and clutch slave through the inspection hole on the transmission.
