Default Lowing a 87

Is there any way I can Lower my 87 single cab long wheel base? I can drop it with a jdm kit but I dot want to spend $500+. I would like to lower it some but not slammed. Like 1-2 in the front an 3-4 in the rear or just 2 in the rear. Thanks for the help in advance

Dropped beams are the way to go. You might still be able to align it with 2" springs though, maybe. They make 2" drop shackles. A flip kit is cheap and will give you about 5".

So what would be the best way to drop the front 2 and rear 4-5? And not break the bank

Belltech springs for the front, about the only ones available. Belltech shackles and brackets for the rear, a few manufacturers for these but might as well keep it from one supplier. Of course alignment bushings and an alignment will be a must. I'd say around $400 to $500.

Could I buy the beltech rear kit and drop it 4 because it's only $130 but the front springs are $250, could I just cut some of the spring out to lower it? Like cut a coil?

No, the spring has a flattened pigtail on both ends that attaches to suspension.

Moog cc818, oem spring on your truck is cc820 unless it's a heavy duty half, very doubtful. The cc818 will give you 1" + or -. Went down this road with my 95, didn't want the Beltech cause they are a stiffer spring.

Well I'm hotroding my truck and the factory stance just don't cut it. I've seen kits on these trucks where the frame touches the ground and I don't want that much but I want some lower. The fast n loud look; paint it black, crate motor, and lower it. So I appreciate it. And if I got those springs and it lowers it 1inch, and then got the beltech 4in rear kit, would it set higher in the front? I want it level just lower

Probably won't be able to go the full 4" in rear. Install front springs then match the rear with the look you want.
