I actually put my name on the waiting list a couple weeks ago. I only put in for 31x10.50 though, as these run a lot closer to true size or even bigger apparently.

All the reviews I read thought they were fantastic, and most recommended the kedge grip. I sh*t you not, I probably read reviews for 4 hours. Ask for a specific sidewall or load rating, else I think they come standard with something no matter what. They're design is pretty much the old MT/R.

Edit: 31's as opposed to bigger, I can probably fit 35's, (which they don't make...) but don't want to overfill the wheel wells or rub. 33x12.50 would have been awesome, but they stopped in that size I guess.

Yeah those do look like the old MT/R's lol probably just an off brand but most likely the exact same tire. People said the old MT/R's were pretty good except in mud, but it all depends on what kind of driving your going to be doing. Have you seen the new MT/R's?

Its not an off brand, they're retreads. All of their tread designs are based on a different tire, the new MT R just doesn't look as aggressive to me, and you can't beat the retread prices. I haven't read any reviews where the tread has split from the carcass either.

Personally, I think they're one of the best things since condoms and sliced bread.

They look part road tire... which they are. They changed the tread design to be more accomodating to the road, but still work off-road. The old ones just have a more aggressive and MT look to me.

Note: I'm biased. I grew up where you could look in someones shed and find interco, swamper, and gumbo mudders all over the place, and look twenty feet away and see the truck they go to.

Also, to the OP, if you're going for a winter tire, treadwright's Warden might be a better choice. But I guess with kedge grip on the Guard Dog's it wouldn't matter too much.

Yeah the reason I got these is cause of alot of the reviews said they were an awesome all around tire, great in the mud, snow, rocks, trails, and also fairly quiet on the road for an aggressive tire
